This homely property offers accommodation for up to 10 guests (12 on request) in 6 bedrooms. Comprising 4 doubles, 1 twin, and a 6th bedroom which has a child's sleigh bed and a single bed - and can be interconnected to the master bedroom.

The master bedroom has it’s own ensuite and two bathrooms service the other 4 bedrooms.

Downstairs there is a large living/sitting room with a comfortable leather suite and large dining room table. There is also a Grand Piano for those with talent – either hidden or practised.

The second sitting room, known as ‘The Snug’, is a smaller cosier room. Perfect for reading the papers, a nap, or simply having some quiet time. The kitchen and utility rooms provide exactly what you would expect to find and both are fully serviced.

The south facing garden has a large terrace for alfresco dining. The pool and terrace are both easily shaded by the plane tree that centres the garden, a welcome shade in the heat of the day.

The house is equipped with a range of sporting and recreational activities for the whole family including: -

The village of Ferrals

The house sits in the midst of the beautiful, friendly, quiet village of Ferrals. The village has two Boulangeries, one of which doubles up as a Pizza takeaway in the evenings, a small but very well stocked village store, Tabac and Post Office, a restaurant, and a seasonal cafe bar which sometimes serves food.

For the larger shopping expeditions, the nearby town of Lezignan provides everything you should need. 

A 20 min bike ride across the vineyards will bring you to the village of Fabrezan where the restaurants are relaxed and plentiful – from a family pizza to a grown up/dress up good night out.

The villages of La grasse/Thezan are all in easy reach where a wide selection of restaurants are available.  

The property is also 30-45 minutes away from the stunning mediterrean beaches of Languedoc-Roussillion.

The Intermarche (Supermarket) is 5 mins down the road.

The historic and beautiful towns of Narbonne and Carcassonne are both 25 minutes away.

Hours of fantastic walking and cycling through open vineyards.

For those wishing to explore the wine region, Vin en Vacances is a vineyard tour company ran by Wendy Gedney an English woman with a passion for this wonderful area and its wines. Wendy is a wine teacher and during the tours not only will you have a fabulous day meeting wine makers, you will also learn a great deal about wine and tasting. Her aim is to provide you with an experience not easily created by yourself and during the day you will explore the regions, taste wonderful wines and local produce and enjoy a superb lunch at one of the local restaurants.
